This oasis is devoted to the Lone Wolf series by Joe Dever, one of the greatest science fiction/fantasy epics. Dever has woven a intricate world, Magnamund, upon the basic epic theme. It's hero, Lone Wolf, is the last of an elite order of warrior monks named after their god, Kai. He swears vengence on his enemies, the Darklords, servants of the dark god Naar, over the bodies of his slain brethren. His quest takes him through a world full of magic, mystery, monsters and wonder. He meets many engaging characters who add believability to the world of Magnamund. He must fight giaks, kraan, vordaks, helghast, and all manner of nasties and use his wits to survive. His destiny is to conquer the Darklords and become Supreme Master of the Kai.

The books are based on the choose-your-own-adventure concept and are enjoyable to play over and over because of the variety of possible storylines and the books' ability to take you to a world where the differences between Good and Evil are crystal clear and Good can triumph over Evil.

• Dusty Shelf is currently translating an encyclopedic text called the Magnamund Tome that contains(eventually) all available knowledge about Magnamund.
• Dusty Shelf is also working on a Giak Dictionary.
• Julian Egelstaff is hosting the Kai Monastery, a website that has brought together a lot of fans. You can gain valuable info there. My favorite part is that once in a while he'll put up a conundrum in the Monastery Library. If you're the first to answer correctly, he'll put your name on his site.
• Julian has also started an email list. You can meet lots of Lone Wolf fans who will answer your questions and welcome you to the Lone Wolf fan community.
• Some fans have started an Electronic Role Playing Game(ERPG) which is a combination of storytelling and role playing. You can read some of the past storylines at the ERPG support page. The support page is not available at certain times of the week.
