A carnivorous plant that inhabits the Azagad Gorge in the swampy areas near the Azan River. It has long, rope-like tendrils that lie lifeless until an animal touches them. They immediately spring into life and wrap around their victim drawing it towards a mass of poisonous crimsom barbs in the center of the plant. The poison causes paralysis and death in its victims.
When it rains, the yaku plant becomes quiescent and ignores any potential victims in order to absorb the rare moisture. Its crimsom barbs become pink and turn into tubules to catch the rain.
